So I went up and spent a few days with stormantia while on break, and it was pretty much an awesome time. We saw New Moon, which was actually kinda enjoyable, I got to meet a lot of her friends, who all seem to be really great people, and we talked so much, which was wonderful. I've had an amazing weekend. I feel like writing this, because all too often I get caught up in the bad and forget to commemorate the good.

I was watching the news today. One of the lead-ins to a story I ultimately didn't end up seeing was this: "Is it possible to be over-protective?"

I don't care if it was a rhetorical question and I don't care what to what such a question was in reference. The fact that it was even asked makes me ill. What the hell?

I'm working on an essay concerned with the ethics of plagiarism. I've found a lot of good academic work on the subject, some excellent case studies, and a couple hilarious jumping-off points for criticism. So I’m getting absolutely nothing done on this essay, which is starting to drive me mad. The sheer unproductivity of it all makes me want to vomit a little. I feel like I’ve become so impossibly dumb since November. Hume confuses the fucking hell out of me. On Saturday I slept from 7:30 am until 9:00 am.
Went to appointment.
Came back at 10:30 am. Slept. Woke up at 4:30 pm.
Decided to pass out for the night at 8:00 pm. Woke up today at 11:30 am.

I think I deserve a medal. No. Really.
